Strojírny Prostějov, a.s., known for their long-standing tradition in custom manufacturing of complex welded structures, is reaching another technological milestone.
Soon, they will be installing a new modern machine – the WFT 13 R CNC horizontal boring mill from the Czech manufacturer Fermat.
The new machine will replace one of the currently used TK11 centers, and with its advanced specifications, it will improve machining accuracy and expand technological capabilities.
Full operation is expected to begin in November.
The foundation is already in place, and next week, the machine will undergo acceptance testing at the supplier’s plant. After that, it will be disassembled and transported to Prostějov, where assembly and operational testing will take place. Full operation is expected to start in November.
This investment in the new machine reaffirms Strojírny Prostějov's commitment to providing top-tier solutions to clients worldwide, particularly in markets such as Germany, Spain, and Switzerland, which account for a large portion of the company's export production.
