The machines at Spojmont are running at full again. After the severe floods that hit the Spojmont Ostrava facilities, the employees didn't stop. Despite the need to repair and prepare many things, today it’s almost as if the floods never happened. A big thanks and gratitude go to the amazing employees of Spojmont for this!
Current situation at Spojmont and plans for the near future:
- Four bending presses and one punching press (punching machine T5000) have already been put back into operation.
- The maintenance team is working hard to bring additional machines back online.
- The drywall partitions have been repaired, and assembly work is continuing smoothly.
- In Q1/2025, the restoration of operations on two more punching machines and two more bending presses is planned.
- An investment in new laser cutting machines is also being prepared.
Moreover, even amid the pre-Christmas rush, there is a great atmosphere among the employees at Spojmont.
