It is a polypropylene high-strength technical fibre with a flame retardant additive that is UV stabilized, that being up to 300 kLy. With the new product, our development department has responded to the needs of construction companies that use safety nets made of materials with reduced flammability. We built on the successful ANTIPYREX product, which also has a flame retardant. The current ANTIPYREX 300 responds to the fact that UV radiation has a degrading effect on polypropylene, resulting in a loss of strength. We want to prevent this by using UV stabilizers, so we stabilized ANTIPYREX 300 to 300 kLy. The fibre complies with DIN 4102, class B1 and DIN 4102, class B2 and ČSN ISO 4589-2 and has been tested for accelerated ageing due to UV radiation according to ČSN EN ISO 4892-3.
