Dalibor Fiala Appointed as Executive Director of BR Industrial Textile Division
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Dalibor Fiala has joined BR Group as the Executive Director and Board Member of the Industrial Textile division, succeeding the previous director, Miroslav Merenda. Mr. Fiala brings a wealth of experience in operations management and business leadership to our team.
Originally from Prostějov, Mr. Fiala has held various senior positions throughout his career. He spent 13 years at John Crane, where he led European manufacturing plants, starting as a Plant Manager and advancing to a senior role overseeing operations management. His expertise also includes industrial fabrics and textiles, which he focused on while working at TORAY Industries, a company with a global presence.
Additionally, Mr. Fiala gained valuable experience at GE Electric, a turbine manufacturer, where he specialized in sourcing and continuous improvement. He also worked at Husky, a leading manufacturer of injection molding machines, where he managed supply chains across America and contributed to optimizing production and logistics processes.
Today, Mr. Fiala fully immersed himself in his new role by attending the monthly Industrial Textile division meeting, actively engaging in discussions about strategic goals and the division’s future direction. During this occasion, he was warmly welcomed by Mr. Rudolf Bochenek, owner of BR Group a.s., who wished him great success in his new position and expressed confidence that his experience and leadership would drive further development and strengthen the division’s market position.
Mr. Fiala was also officially introduced to his new role at LANEX in Bolatice, where he met with colleagues and familiarized himself with the facility’s operations.
