Participation in BRNO INDUSTRY WEEK and Infor Velocity Day in Prague
Our IT Director at BR Group, Lumír Kunath, has recently taken an active part in two prestigious events.
BRNO INDUSTRY WEEK
At this event, Lumír, together with Robert Fárek from ITeuro, a.s., participated in a practical discussion on the topic of ERP system digitalization across BR Group divisions, particularly in the automotive sector.
In the panel discussion “Digitalization Without the Glitter,” they focused on:
- Digitalization as a people-centered process, not just about technology.
- Sharing concrete experiences on how to establish functional collaboration between customers and suppliers.
- Demonstrating how gradual digitalization delivers real results—without buzzwords.

Infor Velocity Day – Prague
Lumír also attended Infor Velocity Day, where he had the opportunity to meet with Kerry Koutsikos (VP & GM Infor South EMEA) and David Zeman.
Together, they discussed:
- The ERP Infor SyteLine project within the BR Automotive division.
- The potential for expanding cooperation to other parts of BR Group.
What caught Lumír’s attention?
- The Infor Velocity suite – AI in practice.
- Process Mining and RPA Automation.
- GenAI in everyday processes.
Lumír also highlighted Infor Birst BI as a “dark horse” among BI tools, thanks to its direct integration into all areas of the Infor ERP system. The entire event was packed with inspiration, real-world use cases from manufacturing verticals, and a fantastic atmosphere.
