BR Group Participated in the "Living Library" Fair at the Great World of Technology in Dolní Vítkovice
We proudly represented BR Group at the "Living Library" fair held at the Great World of Technology in Dolní Vítkovice, an event designed for 8th and 9th-grade students.
In collaboration with the Vítkovice Secondary Technical School, we showcased two key trades: machinery locksmithing and metal machining. Our booth was thematically set up in a workshop classroom, providing an authentic experience. We introduced students to part-time job opportunities and future career prospects within our companies, both in the Ostrava area and beyond.
Students enjoyed engaging presentations, demonstrations, and competitions with prizes. Highlights included injection molds, automotive component prototypes from PF Plasty and Linaset, metal mold assembly from SPOJMONT and LUCCO, industrial ropes from LANEX, and even a dog rescue bag for helicopter transport from SINGING ROCK.

A big thank you to our amazing team representing BR Group at the event: Jana Haubeltová, Jana Nováková, Sabina Čapcová from HR for the automotive, industrial textile, and engineering divisions, Nikol Malátová from marketing, and Aleš Kubík, Head of Press Tool Repairs at PF Plasty, who provided students with an in-depth explanation of the production process.
The event was held under the auspices of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
